R6 sputtering at WOT / near WOT after plug change and carb adjust

My 1999 R6 is sputtering and hesitating after a carb cleaning and sync and spark plug change.

Around at 60% to WOT it sputters and hesitates before coming alive What can be the issue?

It has 9100 miles.

1999 R6

I'm not exactly sure but I had this same problem with my car awhile back. A change of spark plugs and it was all fixed. Maybe you got a bad set or their spaced wrong?

When you say carb cleaning, what do you mean? How did you clean them? Definately check your plugs, but if it is running good in the begining, I am thinking more the carbs.

Could be a spark plug gap issue. I would check the gap on the plugs. Did you replace to plugs with OEM plugs or something different? Could be a temperature of the plug issue if after market plugs. You want the same temperature rating as the OEM plugs. Who cleaned and sync'ed your carbs? Was the needle valves adjusted? I have seen one carb not supply the correct air fuel ratio with a tiny piece of junk after it was cleaned and caused your symptoms. Put 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of fuel injection cleaner in your next fill up. Should help clean anything out that may have been left behind. It will also loosen up any gas varnish left behind also.

Ride it like you stole it, and keep the rubber side down.
