Just purchased 05 R1

I just purchased a 2005 R1 with 2000 miles. The bike is very clean and well taken care of. I am very impressed with the way the bike handles but I am comparing it to my 1998 900RR which was like driving a tank compared to the R1. The power is very good except for low RPMs (under 5 grand). Once you hit around 6 thousand RPMs the bike really wakes up. I like the rider position but I am sorta missing that huge ass tank on the 900rr. All in all I am very happy with the bike. Looking for a license plate kit. The guy who owned the bike before me had the license plate zip tied to the passanger foot peg brackets. I would like to thank Vash for some good input on the 05 ZX10R that I was originally going to buy. After talking to him and doing some research I decided against the ZX10.

Hard work spotlights the character of people: some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses, and some don't turn up at all.

Mmmm r1. One fine piece of art on wheels. Congrats

Really, no need to. Four wheels to move the body, two wheels to move the soul.
