Exhaust question

I am thinking about geting the gytr slip on exhaust for my 06 R6. Will a power commander be necessary with this or not?

It depends on your goal. If you just want a new sound and look then no a powercommander isn't necessary. The bike will run fine without it. If you want to get the optimum performance from the new pipe then yes you need the powercommander.

Cool, for now I just want a new look and sound, maybe over the summer I will get the power commander. Just wanted to make sure my bike would still run fine.

Well, I ended up buying the Jardin GP1 slip on. I put it on today and it sounds great.
