'05 R6 Sliders

I just bought some frame and swingarm sliders for my R6, and I have a couple questions:

Im a bit concerned about cutting the fairing for the slider, does anyone have any pics of their sliders (on the side you have to cut) or have installed sliders themselves? I just dont want to screw it up!

Also what is the purpose of a swingarm slider on the side that the exaust is on?

Thanks!

Have fun, ride safe!

This is how I installed my sliders.

The swingarm sliders serve as mounts for a swingarm stand (ex. Pitbull).

Those are solid directions. Yet for bike stands, the CycleCat rear stand is definitly a level above. LOL, none-the-less, be careful about the swingarm sliders you bought and where they are from. Some Swingarms are SOOOO stiff that they save your body work, but can DESTROY your internals in a significant slide out. Just make sure you set it up right and have exactly what you were looking for, and your good to go.
