Exclamation why the YZF-600R OVER THE ZZR-600?

Fellow riders I am in urgent need of your opinions and advice. I am only a fews days away from getting my very own bike and I am torn right down the middle between our beloved 600r and the kawi's zzr600. Please give me sound advice as to why the 600r is the better of the two. And also, not that its that big of a deal but I can't find the HP of the 06' 600r. Thanks very much for any and all feedback!

I dont believe there are stats out for '06 bikes. Try looking up '05 or '04, I doubt they have changed much.

I have no idea which one is better.

I got rid of your other thread because one is enough, and posting the same thread over and over is, in a word, irritating.

To answer your question, performance wise I doubt there is really much of a difference. None you'll be able to detect anyway, unless you are a very good rider and taking it to the track on a regular basis. With that said, it really comes down to comfort and aesthetics, in that order. Which bike fits you best? If it's a toss-up, then go for whichever one you think looks better. You can also look into which has bigger/better aftermarket goodies if you're into modding it. "Which bike" is such an individual thing that nobody can tell you which is "better." All they can tell you is what they think....which may or may not be the same as what you think.

Get the one that you want, not the one someone else wants. Both are excellent bikes, I'm sure.

Not a big deal, duplicate posts just clutter up the board, so we try to avoid it. Good luck with whatever you choose!
