insurance on a 99 r-6

im turning 18 in spring and i was wondering if i bought a 99 yzf r-6 if anyone would know how much i would be looking at for insureance

cars are fast,,, bikes are faster

Are you going to insure it full coverage or liability only?

That should be relatively inexpensive. I'm in AZ, one of the highest insurance cost states, and I pay less than 250 a year.

well im 18 and ride a 2002 r6......insurance companies base price on the type of bike and your age....im paying 740 dollars a year just for liability with progressive here in maryland and i have a clean driving record....i asked bout full coverage and when the guy quoted me at 6500 sumthing .....i said im just stickin with the liability....

Ha I pay like $18 a month for Liability in SC on my 2001 R6! LMAO

And that's through progressive....Speeding tickets and all go figure. Although it's a seperate policies than the 2 cars.

I got quoted $18 a month from state farm on a 2005 R6 for full coverage 50/100/50 plus $1000 self injury.
