R6 Oil Choices

Winter will soon be on its way out. As I begin the de-winterization I was curious as to what type of oil you swap in and out of your scoot.. both Tranny and Motor?

Please advise

I have used all dino-oil so far in CBR and 600R. Some Yamalube, some Honda oil and lots of Bardahl 10-40w. Have looked into cheaper, synthetic, auto-based lubes, but lack of consensus on how appropriate they are has kept me from choosing anything else. I may go synthetic or blend after 600R is broken in.

As far as transmission lube, does the R6 really have separate tranny oil supply? I didn't think it did...

thanks...my dealer (which has serviced the bike up until now) always went with yamalube fluids. However I was curious about the synthetic blends.

Regarding the tranny fluid...i kinda through the question out there with out giving it much thought.. thanks again for the info.
