Question

I am on my 3rd TLS and have had the Stainless RS3 race full system, and the RS3 race slipons. Great pipes but I want to know what else is working well for everyone. I saw those gawd awful one sided dual Two Bros pipes and really couldnot tell if I liked them. I have seen the full M4 system (SWEET) and the single right side M4 system (incredibly LOUD!!).
What do you have or recommend??

Wink TLS pipe

To Zook!
Good day to you!, for my money I went with the Indigo high fit race configured system, with carbon cans. It lost about 16 lbs of weight and with remap and K&N filter,it puts out just under 125hp now. The system is like spagetti under the bike with all the slip it sections but makes one hell of a difference. rear foot pegs are a thing of the past ,but my TL wasn't meant for two.....
The carbon cans do something to me....the bellow they emit is like something wild running around town. Another fellow I ride with has an Indigo system on hit VTR and I have heard him at a distance and the Vtwin sound is so very distinctive......

damn all this talking/typing crap I'm going riding...
which one

I seen and rode a 01 TLS with a Full M4 one side exhaust and really liked it. Almost bought a TLS as a second bike.

I'd say go with the M4, less money then Yoshi so more bang for the buck!

BTW, yes it's LOUD!

Thumbs up

I have the full Yosh exhaust, but it is the street version. Pretty loud, but when the baffles need replacing, I am going with the race baffles. I have heard the Vance & Hines are pretty loud. Never heard them myself.

Last week I struck up a conversation at the gas station with this guy who had '99 tls with the Vance & Hines pipes and when he went to leave....wow, what a sound!!!!! Those pipes have a real bark. Twins have such a great sound.

Later,
Eric
