Question

Hey guys, I'm planning to get another bike. Not sure which one to get yet. I am stuck between the Hayabusa on one hand, and CBR xx1100 on the other.

I want the Hayabusa cause it looks hella tight. The power aint bad either.

I want the Honda XX1100 because its really reliable.

Can someone help me make up my mind.

Posting in one forum is sufficient. Even the rabid brand-loyal among us visit the other forums, if only to stir up trouble.

Suck mean people!

Exclamation

I didn't mean it that way. No offense. Since this was a Honda issue, and a Suzuki issue. I felt as if it would be more beneficial to get opinions off both sides.

Ya! What are you doing in the Suzuki Section! You should be a Honda man!!

I work with a guy that owned a XX until about 4 months ago. He has recently ridden a Hayabusa(not mine ) and commented that it was a nice bike and he would probably buy one if he didn't like the XX so much. Noone can tell you which one to get. You have to make that your decision. Motorcycles are very personal to people and people are very loyal to there bikes. Learn what you can about each one and pick what is right for you. Just my opinion.

In the UK I owned two Honda CBR1000's. Both were really reliable. When I came over to the USA and finally decided to buy a bike I looked at the bird, and then at the busa. I based my decision on the UK publication Bike. They compared the bird and busa and the busa won, but only just. the busa gets let down on the finish, and the bird on the handling (front is soft and you can't adjust, and the rear is only adjustable for rebound).

In the fast Bikes Mach2 video, out of the R1, ZZR1100, Bird and Busa, only the bird and busa finish under their own power...
It's really down to how you ride and what you want.
I prefered the looks of the busa and wanted the ability to play with the suspension, so I got the busa.

Good luck in whatever you choose. Personally I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather. Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

I'm going to close this thread, since it is being discussed at greater length in the Honda forum.
