Question 2003 GSX R600 electrical problem

I have a electronic issue. I'll charge my battery then connect on the bike. The bike starts everythings fine. When I shut it off it and try to start it. It starts like its weak battery. Then it slowly gets weaker and weaker. When I charge it reads 12. some volts and when I connect it to the bike it reads about 14.20 volts. I do the same thing again and charge the battery and it starts. I have a feeling something could be grounding or the battery is bad please help me and correct me if I'm wrong. Anyone have and idea on what I should do? I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks!

At first time battery charged , have you check that battery charged completely or not. When you put the battery in charging then do charging till it fully charged and then only fit it.So check this.
