I just wanted to know what all of you have done and plan to do to your gixxers.

My bike:I have a Yellow/Black 2000 GSXR 750.

Stuff already done: Carbon Fiber Yosh RS3 Race Only Slip On, rear signals wired into brakelight, finder chopped off, license plate remounted down near rear shock, replaced front signals with LP carbon fiber/smoked short stalks, and a small magnetic tank gaurd.

Future plans: Frame sliders (have them now but I just need to install them), Smoked Zero-Gravity Double Bubble windscreen (on order), Powercommander II, K&N air filter, and then a run on a dyno.

Hope my last words will NOT be "Hey guys, watch this!!"

good post.

Bike: 99 gixxer750

Stuff done to it: not anything good.. added some nice scratches.. had someone repaint who didnt know how to match colors right. let a buddy sit on it and he somehow let it fall on the left side.

Stuff I plan to do: ordered a yosh rs-3 race slip on will be here next week.. woohoo.. and if i dont sell it probably a new windscreen fend. elim. kit flush mount signals but im leaning towards selling it so i probably wont do much to do

i have a 98 gixxer

*removed baby blue part of scheme on side fairings and rear..

blue to match *GSX-R* on side fairing..
*lost the stock blue and white trunk cover in favor of a 96
(i thinK) cover to acheive hot orange scheme. and the
trunk cover sticker has carbon fiber effect.
*Frame sliders (which at present only the right side has
one) from slight lay down.. left one broke offf~!
*Rear swing arm frame sliders from intuitive...
*license plate tucked under seat. way under.. got hassle by
black and white.
*lost the stock steering damper in favor of the all
expensive scott's steering damper~! i luv it~!
*had a two brother carbon slip on when i bought.. i kinda
like that too.
*and i have a blue tint winshield.. but i prefer clear.

I also wish to sell my bike.. any takers? slight damage on left side.. i have a upper front and left side fairing ready to go on..

Cool

I just got 98 600 GIXXER a few months ago and I haven't done anything to it yet. But I would like to know how do you remount the license plate under the tail. And gsxr750y2k, how did you wire the rear signals to your tail light, that sounds tight. How much does all this cost. Not like it matters. I'm gonna do it any way.

Talking mo money mo money!

Things I have done to my 97 gsxr-750:
-Yosh Titanium R3 Race Slip on
-Steel braided front brake lines. I luke a mushy feel on the rearside.
-going with a 180 tire on the rear. Either Dunlop stars or Mich Pilot Race Compound (I alternate due to availability and its good way of improving your riding skills.)
-Remove the Lightning Bolt Graphics (I Have the Red Black ANd Silver Model)
-Attack Rearsets
-Iam about to put a new rear shock either a ohlins or penske. Stay away from Fox, several people i know have not been happy with them.
-Lochart philips Speedscreen.

Wish list:

2001-GSXR-1000 (Though not going to happen as there is another baby on the way)

If you have to look back you are not far enough ahead!

1) How to wire rear signals into brake light: here is a thread that well help you Rear Signals: How to Rewire into Brakelight.

2) How to remount plate down: It is really hard to describe how to do it without actually showing you. My g/f is buying me a digital camera for xmas so I will post close up pics of what I did.

It was very easy though. Took about 10 minutes (not including the time it took to chop the whole finder off). All I did was bend the plate a little so it looks like a backward-reversed-L. I basically bent the top part(where is says Michigan) of the plate in. I then removed the driver seat and had someone else drill two holes while I hold the plate in place to make sure it looks right. After the plate was mounted I bent it a little more to make it more visible from behind.

You will know exactly what I am talking about after I post the pics. But you and I will both have to wait until after xmas.

Hope my last words will NOT be "Hey guys, watch this!!"
