Problems with a GS500F

I have been rideing for 2 years now and convinced a buddy of mine to buy a bike. He immidiatly fell inlove with the supersports... I did some convinceing to him and got him to tone it down just a lil and buy a GS500F. This bike is hella fast for a first rider and looks plenty cool. Here's my problem, If he is rideing the bike and it get's warm he pulls in the clutch to stop and the bike stalls instantly for no aparent reason. It takes a combination of choke, gas and luck to get it going again. I am wondering if anyone has any idea why this would be happening. It deos not happen when I ride the bike however I have not ridden it that much. I am reasonably sure it is not the idle, because it worked fine on the same setting a couple of days ago.

Is he pulling the clutch in all the way?

What does it idle at when warm?

Is the choke on or off when it happens?

(kickstand up?)
