Top Speed on a 07 GSX-R 750

I was wondering if anybody has expreienced the top speed on a 2007 GSX-R 750. I have one but have only had the time and space to get it up to 156 in fifth gear before I had to slow down. I ride mine pretty hard minus being on a track and drag racing it, which I plan on doing soon.

yea please take it easy. I doubt you will realize the difference if the top was 150 160 or even 170 after all it should all feel too fast for the roads your on.

I didn't say that I was going to try to do the top speed but it would be easier to not try to if I could get input from other 750's on their top speed and not questions in return and run arounds. Besides I really wanna know how fast I can go around corners and curves but doing it on city streets and highways isn't something I wanna try. But thanks for not answering my question. 0-2

So, what you're saying is, if you don't get the info you want, you're just going to have to get out there and see for yourself???

Mate, it works like this. You can only go as fast around corners as YOU can go. It's got f*ck-all to do with what bike you're on and all to do with YOUR SKILL. A newb might only be able to take corner 'A' at 30mph, regardless of the power underneath him, whereas an experienced rider will be able to do twice that on half the bike.

In all serious, mate, slow the f*ck down and learn how to ride properly and SAFELY before you kill either yourself or some poor innocent bystander.
