2005 GSXR 600 Tech Info Help

Ok guys I am gonna start from the beginning here. I use a 05 gsxr 600 motor in a mini-sprint car. my weight with me in car is 750 lbs and I am looking for some advantages over the competition. Everyone runs the CBR600RR and the Yamaha R6's I am the only guy in the state of Oklahoma running the Gixxer in a sprinter. I just recently changed to this motor though after watching AMA races on the speed channel and seeing the Gixxers do very well under acceleration. I run on 1/8 to 1/4 mile dirt ovals in 2 or 3 gear. I pulled this motor out of a wrecked bike and put it on my car the way it was set up in the bike with all the sensors and all. (Most of the others start cutting wires not knowing what they do and knows motor runs without it and thinks it isn't important.) I am wondering if you could put a 750 head on the 600 transmission for some more top end? and maybe some secrets to getting extra power. Maybe know some people who do head work such as porting and polishing? I also plan on getting the power commander too. any help or some ideas would be very grateful. Thanks Nathan Hagar

Please see post in the general discussion section.

I'm assuming you mean a 750 engine (not just the head) on a 600 transmission. Although it's possible with mods, you wouldn't benefit from adapting a 750 head to a 600 engine. Also, these engines don't benefit from port work like older engines.
