Thumbs up

Anyone out there with a twin ride it around with the cans off? I took them off to modify them, get rid of the stock sound. While they were off, I fired it up and took it for a spin around town. Man, that is LOUD. By the way, it is a TL1000S. After the modification (basically removing some of the baffle), the bike sounds 10 times better.

When i was getting my Yosh RS-3 full race system put on,it was fired up without the cans in the shop for just a short time as everyone temporarily lost their hearing(just kidding, but it was very loud). It would be kinda interesting to pull up beside a Harley with open pipes just to see who is more obnoxious.

We are a bunch of nut cases. I did the same thing with my 96 VFR. Wow, that V-4 sounds intense with no can.

Who you callin' a nut case? I once took the TBR can off my VFR to polish it, and couldn't resist the temptation to ride around the block canless. Blipping the throttle at 7:30AM on a Saturday did nothing to improve neighborhood relations.
