2002 GSXR-600 info

I have the chance to pick up an 02 GSXR-600 for about $3500.00. It has 12k miles and it's in pretty good shape. It was lowered 2" which is good for me as I'm really short. It has a Yoshimura pipe on it. Other than that it is stock.
3 questions
Is it worth that much?

How much horsepower?

1/4 mile times & top speed?

I'm coming off of a 2005 Honda ST1300 that I hit a deer with and it got totaled out. I'm looking for a bike to get me buy 1 to 2 years but not be a gutless wonder.

GSXR 600 stats

The 2002 GSXR 600 was an unchanged carryover model from 2001. Here are the stats, per Sport Rider magazine figures:

Rear wheel horsepower: 100.5 @ 13,000rpm
Rear wheel torque: 45.6 @ 10,750rpm
Quarter mile: 10.69 @ 126.6 mph
Top Speed: 157 mph
Wet Weight: 423 lbs

Judging by the numbers, not exactly what I'd call gutless. It's quicker and faster than your former ST 1300. Although like with any 600SS bike, the big power is all north of 5 figures on the tach. Nothing at all like the low end and midrange power your ST had.

At $3500, seems like a really good price too.

Thanks for info...ZXRider

Thanks, That's what I was looking for. When I took it for a ride it seemed slower then my ST1300. It could just be the feel of the ride or what not.
