sluggish problems on 2001 gsxr750

I have a 2001 gsxr750 with about 8000 miles on it. It has a K&N air filter and a D&D full exhaust system on it. It seems to be having some hesitation throughout the drining range. Some times it will hit in first gear really hard and other times it seems to be a little sluggish. It also will give off a little white smoke after cracking it one time. I am not sure what is going on, I just know it shouldn't be behaving this way. I think it may need a power commander, but I am not sure. Anybody have any suggestions? They would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Wm

If you have a full d&d system, and k&n filter, uh yea you need a power commander.

I may not know everything about somethings, but i know something about everything!
