Question New guy lookin for some tips.

Well, i am a soon to be owner of a sport bike. I am fairly intrested in the GSX-Rs, but am willing to change direction and take any opinions on other brands. Basically, i want a good reliable bike that is easy to ride while also being pretty powerful. I want to start riding because i have always loved watching and riding friends bikes. I really like the Suzuki 1000s, i feel that i am a responsible enough rider to handle the power. Money is no problem. What should i invest in?

1k might be a bit too much power to start off on. Just hard to handle and is not confidence inspiring until you get some seat time.
a gsxr 750 would be best of both worlds, more power than 6 and just as fun as 1k.

A new rider on a 750, or 1k Isn't the best choice...even the 600 can be a handful in the wrong circumstances, and a new rider just doesn't have the skillz to be able to cope...get a smaller bike to learn on..in the long run, you'll become a better rider...
