2004 GSXR750 question???

Hey there, new here and so far it looks like a great place for info & etc.

I just purchased my 04 gsxr 750 about a month ago. VERY impressed thus far.

However I would like to drop down 1 tooth on the front sprocket.
(better gearing for what I like - I don't think I would use the top end on this rocket very often.

Does the 04 come with a 17 tooth front, therefore requiring me to order a 16???

And I assume the stock chain will work fine with that, right?

Thanks.

I am not sure what comes stock but if I had to guess I would say 17. Dropping 1 tooth should not be a problem for chain length, just readjust it.

I believe 17 front and 43 rear on the '04 750, and 16 front 45 rear on the 600. You really should go here if you ride a gixxer for this shit
