Racetech rear shock for gixxer 600

I have a good friend who is selling his for a 00 - 02 Gixxer 600. Full Racetech internals with almost no use. He is asking $200 and your stock shock. Pretty good deal i thought. Just thought I'd ask.

I think it dependz on what a good deal is to YOU..I'm not knocking Race Tech..but ya can normally get a usedFox twin Clicker for $100.00 more.. More importantly, is the spring on the shock, the RIGHT one for yur weight..? If not, another 100.00 for a new spring..Stock shocks, unmodifiyed sell any where from 35.00 to 100.00...so I'd say the 200.00 for the shock in question is an O.K. deal...

If yur gonna get the shock..do the forks too..ya need good suspension at both endz..check the link below..

Hammer do you do your own suspension adjusting, or do you have it done?

I have it set in the ball park, then I fine tune it...

When you make a fine adjustment how long do you ride on it before you change it or keep it?
