Talking Hard Numbers...

Just glancing through my Motorcyclist Mag. & wanted to hear other opinions on how much of a factor are the Hard Numbers of all the current sportbikes to everyone esle.... Says alot; Motorcycle/measured hp(@rpm/measured torque([email protected])/best 1/4mile([email protected])/top-gear roll-ons 60-80mph(sec.)/wet-weight/fuel consumption/last **tested.

Life is short!

I would say I look at Horsepower/Torque just for the sole reason of not buying too much bike. I need a daily rider and surprisingly my Laverda is fitting that right now. I also somewhat look at fuel mileage. As far as 0-60/quarter mile are concerned I look at them but they are not one of my reasons for choosing bike A over bike B. If I was looking for a track bike, different story. Handling is more of a concern than top end.

Just bought my third bike, anyone want to buy my car?
