not good. have you concidered custom paint?

speed-werks.com shouldn't be too far off. or you can come up my way and meet brad from james custom cycle, he's contracted out some pretty wicked paint jobs.

in order words, good luck. it won't be easy to find them.

but seriously...I have never ordered from this place but have been considering it for a while. Their prices seem fairly good...

however, I don't recommend sending them ANY email to ask questions. First of all, it will take them about 4-5 days to get back to you, and second, they are morons. I asked for some help matching my bike's color code to the part numbers on their web site and about 5 days later a guy responds and says "the part you want is $285"...totally dodging the question I asked...then when he finally gives me the part number a few days later he says "the part number is right next to the picture on the web site"...which is true, however, the pictures are all in black and white, which doesn't help much when we're talking colors.

I just don't understand why companies say "let's make a web site, hyuck" and then they post an email address knowing full well that they will only check that email once a week. Might as well just post the mailing address and phone number...in the phone book...like the good old days!

Anyway enough ranting. If you order from them let me know how they treat you. I haven't found any cheaper OEM plastics anywhere...

Hi Jacob! Good to see you posting again. How's the new job going? I assume you aren't coming down here for bike week?

Anyway, have you tried the online salvage yards? There are several of them and from what I understand, they have LOTS of the more uncommon plastics available, scuffed and unscuffed. Might be worth a try.

I won't make it this time, Everybody from work left today to go down there. The job is great(got to love employee discounts on bike parts) I'm gonna try to make it for biketoberfest but i'm not going to make plans just yet. I might actually have my bike moving in a week or two. I put a 48 tooth sprocket on the rear of my bike but now my chain won't fit(imagine that) But the new chain came in today so i should get it on next week some time. I might have to make a weekend trip down there to see you and T.J. and colin. Well, i'm gonna try some salvage yards, if no luck i'll duct tape everything together. And if that won't hold it, ZIP TIES!

Geez, Adam! C'mon, we are occasionally known to ride with Jacob and we'll stop that in short order if he furs it out.
