Pete,

Let me know before you purchase a 929. I believe we can adapt one of those throttle screws they use on the kids atvs. It allows the parents to adjust the throttle so the kids don't go too fast. We could put one on the 929 and screw it in to keep the engine below 4000RPM. As you get used to is you can turn it out a little at a time.

Seriously, I was just at a semi-local dealer yesterday and they have a '01 929 on the floor marked down by several hundred dollars. Getting a '01 RC-51 in on Monday. Has two guys that claim they want the RC but the shop owner didn't seem too convinced they were going to buy it.

The throttle screw part of course , Why would rcjohn trade in his NEW RC for another NEW RC ?

Did they upgrade the seats for '01. Maybe the new ones are so hard on John's bum?

Are you speaking from your experience with such modifications to your RC51? Did you safety wire it?
