used bike mileage

Im looking at a 07 CBR 1000. The digital odometor reads 390 miles. The seller claims it was a repo, has a clean title, and the mileage is accurate. Are there any clues I can look for on this bike to let me know if the mileage is true?

look at the tires. if its truely only 390 miles, then the tires should look new and still have the "nipples" on the tire. look at the front brake pads, and the front rotors should be almost brand new. minimul surface scuffing from the pads.

look at the back of the connection on the dash/inst cluster. if the little boot/grommet looks altered, then its a possibility the dash was changed out. then id look at the rearsets for any scuffing, as well as the bar ends or for any where else that might look like the bike went down.

and EXCELLENT choice on the 1000rr. you cant go wrong with a honda.
