looking for 900rr mods/parts

Hey all -- just bought a 99 900RR and I'm fixing it up a little. I haven't been able to find any sources for parts old enough for the bike, specifically flush-mount signals, fender eliminator, brake-lights, and anything else that can update the look of this bike a little. Anyone know any custom parts for this bike?

Thanks!

Forget the poser crap flushmounts & install some parts that will improve the performance like braided steel brake lines or have the front forks reworked & install a jet kit in the carbs

That stuff will come, but right now I need to replace the signals anyway (the front ones are both broken), and the bike really looks dated compared to all my buddies 03/04s.

BTW I still have the stock turn signals on my bike... & they are the same ones that are on your 99 900RR.

Does my bike look dated because of them LOL

no... that bike looks awesome! I guess the deal is that the bike is already plenty fast for me -- scary fast for me -- and I'm the type of person that likes to give character to anything I do.

Your bike has tons of character, and that's what I'd like my bike to have.

So I really do have an immediate need for some signals and a windshield -- and I've been looking at pictures, and learned that I don't think my bike had a stock tail that was black. My tail is sort of messed up on one side anyway, so if there's an aftermarket one, I'd want to peep at that.

Thanks for helping me out.... I'm new to this whole thing and know I'm probably coming off like a total dumbass.

Naw man to each his own.

Personally I like the 96-97 model tails with the shark gill vents.

This was one of my 900RR's I had up until about 2000 complete with flushmounts

Lockphart-Phuckups sells the windscreen bolt kits

The quick turn fasteners for the OEM bodywork will need to be ordered from your local Stealer
