SCOTTS Steering Dampener opinion? (f4i)

Hey all-

A friend just installed a SCOTTS Steering Dampener on his 929, and damn, what a difference! Its amazing- Does anyone else think these (dampeners) are worth it? It's $400 at

Could you give a rating/opinion on Scotts or any other brand?

I've heard nothing but good reivews on scotts dampners. I was in the market for one, you bet your a$$ it'd be a scotts. The lowest I've ever seen one sell for was $375. I've talked to people who have paid as much as $550 for them.

I have one on my r6 and like it worth the money but on your f4i I don't think you need it I trade with my buddie all the time and it handles great not many tank slappers try to dial your bike in before you spend $400 and see the differance just my $.02

I agree with NVMYR6, i put a scotts on my R6 and it help big time with tankslappers. I would say buy the scotts if you get one.

Scotts are nice pieces. In most cases I don't think they are worth the money but if money weren't an issue then it is what I would have.
