Clutch Slipping already??? '02 F4i....NEED HELP

Ok guys, need help bad. I was coming home tonight from a ride. I was on the freeway and down shifted to have a little bit of fun. Yeah well, it felt like the clutch started slipping. Anyway, at first It would only do it while downshifting, it would slip for like 2 -3 seconds then the r's would drop to where they should be and take off like a damn rocket ship (was running increadable tonight!!!). Anyway, about 20 minutes after this, it would do it when I was just accelerating, but the thing is, it doesn't slip ( if this is what it's actually doing....) when the clutch is first let out, only when shifting, then giving it lots of throttle, then It would kinda slip. Anyway, I only have like 2,980 miles on the bike. Do you think it is the clutch already? If so what can I do? I know this is going to sound stupid....but I was going to change the fluids and whatnot this week (3000), could it need it, and that's why it's doing this. Adjustments anywhere? Maybe chain issues? Sorry, I'm just stressing. Please help guys....THANKS!!!
