I bought some Avon Azarro A39 and A40 and took them to get mounted and balanced. When I went to pick up tires I asked why they weren't balanced and guy told me that motorcycle tires don't need to be balanced. That was on rear I am taking front tire there today. Does that sound right?

They should be balanced, preferably with a dynamic balancer (spin wheel to balance). Some shops may not have the equipment.

Around here, all the shops balance them.

Dirtbike guys don't balance their tires and a lot of dirtbike mostly shops don't think that street tires need to be balanced, but most street bikes cruising speed is a dirtbikes top speed. you can ride them with out balancing them but you will feel them shake at speed.

Go somewhere else, they should be balanced unless you like good vibrations.
