Thumbs up

I posted 2 months ago with questions regarding my new bike (and I'm a returning new rider) and all of you were very helpful. Thanks!

Well, bottom-line: I love this bike!

Regarding the rear brake not feeling very strong and unable to lock-up the rear tire: After a slow break-in period, all turned out well and she'll definitely lock-up the rear tire if I press down too hard.

Regarding the clutch and pulling in the clutch and dropping her down into first and the bike would lunge and stall: I let her warm-up a little more and all's fine and sometimes, cheat a little and just rev her up a little during the first get-go when dropping down into first.

The break-in period: This is tough. I'm still a novice but would love to get past the boundaries [0-500 miles keep her under 4,000 rpm and 501-1000 miles keep her under 6,000 rpm]. I try my best to stick to it (maybe a little higher once in a while), but, that's one long break-in period. Northeast (USA) weather has recently improved so I'll be putting some more miles on her, but, for now, she's only got 170 miles and it's a long stretch until that 1,000 mile mark. Patience.... Patience...

Appreciate the positive feedback and answers I received in the past. Hope all of you are enjoying your rides.

Regards to all,
