The very first time I picked up a motorcycle magazine, I was paging through, and I found this kick-a$$ picture of a Kawasaki ZX-7R. I immediately fell in love with the bike.

At the present time, I still no very little about this machine. I've tried to find reviews on it, but they are scarce. So, I have come to Sportbike World to ask for input on this bike.

Hayabusa ~ 0-60 in under 3 sec / top speed - approaching 200mph
F-22 Raptor ~ 0-60 in under 2 sec / top speed - Mach 2.0+

I'll take the bike.

I have a 1995 ZX-7 that I would not trade for anything short of an R-1!!!! I love this bike. Plenty of power and handles like its on rails. It is a little heavy though. I have ridden with a lot of different bikes and it stays with the best of them. I stayed Dead even with a FJ1200 in a race. Very dependable bike am looking for another to set up for racing. Mine puts out about 121 at the rear wheel, just to give you an idea of the power.

95% of Harley Davidsons are still on the road today,
5% actually made it home!

Thumbs up

Mighty nice machine. I've been looking around for one, just can't find one cheap enough. All Kawi's are heavy for their classes, but they do have the power to back them up. If you can wait there might be a new model coming out next year. No one knows for sure though. You can bet Kawi was mad about the new GSXR750 and they are gonna re write the rules on the 750 class when they do revamp their 7r. I'm trying to hold out and wait to see what they do.
