The '88 ZX10 had 137hp and 76 ft.lbs of torque, so you're probably around there. Of course, age will have killed a few of those ponies.

Is this place any good for you???

In God, we trust; all others must provide data.

I think he's got the 1000 Ninja, not the ZX10, C.. The 1000 Ninja was good for about 162 mph, the ZX10 ran 170. 1000r power was in the mid 120s'. The 1000r ran on 16" bias ply tires while the Z had 17" front & 18" rear radials.

This bike was the total shit when it came out in 1986.

You're looking at 105 rear wheel horsepower and about 65 ft/lbs of torque. Quarter mile times in the 10.8-10.9 range. Top speed (radar verified) of 160-162mph. So, about as fast as the new-age 600's. But, quite a bit more comfortable.

Even in this day, a very good-looking, great for all-around, all-day, high speed touring use.
