Zx-6R replacement Tach?

Hey guys, just had a question about the Ninja Zx-6R LCD tachometer. I love the ninja, but that digital tach HAS to go.

Does anyone know if anyone sells a replacement tachometer for the 2005 Ninja Zx-6R that is NOT a digital tachometer (i dont mind a digital speedometer).

If anyone could answer this question, I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

sure... just go to a suzuki dealer and tell them you want a tach from an 06 GSX-R600. Better yet, take the bike too.

Seriously... not that I know of.

I dont know of any direct kits. You could probably wait a few months for a few '06 zx10's to get wrecked, and then take one of their instrument clusters, I would imagine it would hook up.

How long have you had your bike? I find myself not using the tach at all after just a couple months of riding.

I don't even have a ZX-6R, Vash. I have a SV650S, but I was interested in the ninja for later on but i really don't like the look of the LCD tach

sorry, should have looked. I've owned multiple kawi's all with the exact same instrument cluster. While its annoying the first month, after that I find myself looking at the tach very rarely. Not while ridings, not while tearing corners, not at the track, and not while pulling wheelies. I just know my bike, and not what RPM its at. Plus there is a handy shift light that comes on 2k before redline and tells me I need to get to next gear soon.
If you dont like the tach from an astetic (sp?) view point, I can certainly understand that, but I dont have any comlaints about its usefullness.

Mine is set at 500 rpm advanced warning. They are adjustable from 12,000 to 15,500 on the 636.

I never really bothered fiddling with mine. I know that when it comes on, I still have some time before I need to shift...
