Help me out here guys!

I was cruising my NEW Ninja 636 the other day on the highway with my girl in tow in our truck and I noticed the speedometer is way off. Like 10 miles an hour or so at highway speed. I approached the head mechanic at the shop I bought my bike at who called someone at Kawasaki and they told him that at 60mph the bike is ALLOWED to be off by 6%!!!!!!!!!!!!! You've got to be freaking kidding me! Anyone else ever heard of this BS?!?!?! Help me out guys cause I'm NOT about to get a ticket for thinking I'm doing the speed limit when the factory screwed up calibrating my bike.

No prob, all sportbike speedo's are off to some degree, here is a link to the fix.

www.speedohealer.com

That will fix your prob, and if you ever change the gearing, you can calibrate it to fix the change.

I may not know everything about somethings, but i know something about everything!

The 7R is dead on accurate until about 90mph... Of course, it's also a front wheel driven speedo... Not sure, is the 6R the same way?
