ZX7 dies after warmup at idle

I just got my bike about a month ago. It had set for a few seasons before i got it. It ran good when i got it. It then started dying after a good warmup at idle. this happens whether or not the bike is in gear or nuetral. I did a complete tune-up (plugs, fuel filter, air filter), sprayed the carbs down with cleaner, and changed the oil, etc. It seemed to help the problem at first, but it is doing it again, if it even ever stopped. It seems to load up a little in the low rpms too. The bike is completely stock. Please, someone help me!

I am a good mechanic with cars, but bikes are a little new to me. thanks..

If you want to clean the carbs good, you have to remove them from the bike, take them apart and really scrub them out with solvent. Then they should be vacuum balanced when you put them back on the bike. Having just one carb out of sync will make a bike run like shit.

Build a man a fire, and he is warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he is warm for the rest of his life.

Everything I know I learned from killing smart people and eating their brains.
