Question Tire pressure when stunting???

I have just recently try doing stoppies. I have started small just doing them at slower speeds. Sometimes i notice that the front wheel locks up and slides instead of hooking up and bringing up the rear of the bike. Would lowering the bikes tires pressure in the front tire a little give me more traction for stoppies? If anyone has any input on this please let me know. thanks for your time.

Tire Pressure

I would not think that lowering the fromt tire pressure is not too good

Because the bike would seen to have a heavy feel than riding on the nose , and if you whellie and land: the rim can get bent

It takes real steady and progressive hand pressure to raise it up,
AND if it locks = it because you tightening the brake too fast

Dont be scared to drop the bike, but do not over do it - making it attack you by rolling the bike over you.

And you also should lean as far foward - as you already know

Just Take practice

This is a good questions people : I would also like a second opinion about this

Contact the tire manufacturer and ask him what the racing pressures are for the tire you are running. You will want less pressure than you do for normal riding, most likely in the 28-32 psi range. Anything less than 24psi is asking to have the bead of the tire come off.
A tire with less pressure will warm up faster, and wear quicker. The tire temperature is just as important as the carcass flex, so make sure your tire is properly warmed up before you start, drag your front brakes slightly for about a block or so, that should do the trick.
