wow, im trying but cant quite get it?? any pointers

well i was in front of my house today practicing how to do stoppies, why? i dont know, i got board and figured i would start slow, an easy 5-10mph. i slowley rolled up and hit the front break, then, the back wheel came up , i think at least 2ft. man, it was thriling but fun.

now i just want to get to the point where i can hold the stoppie for a few seconds and bring the back wheel up to about a "2" O-clock position...

any pointers.?

Go to the Stoppies thread and A Guide to Stoppies thread. You should be all set after that. I started out riding at 20mph and standing them straight up(not riding them out). I can ride them out from about 50-60 mph now. The only thing you have to be very careful about is grabbing the brake progressively harder. You can grab it quickly, but don't grab a handfull all at once.
