Remind me not to clutch a wheelie again...

This is to all you guys who clutch up a wheelie......MAKE SURE YOUR CHAIN IS TIGHTENED AND NOT WORN OUT!.......
Story- Yesterday I was riding with a couple of my friends. One of which has a 2000 CBR 1100 xx who ive seen do wheelies all day long...So im riding behind him..hes in 3rd gear..then i hear the whine of his motor as he grabs the clutch to wheelie.....all is fine until....BAM! drops the clutch and his chain snaps and flys right up into his motor and chews up God knows what...morale of the story is i guess make sure your chain is tightened and not worn.....which was his problem....oh yeah its gonna cost him $1500.00 to get it drivable again

I guess it should read more like.

Make sure your bike is in proper condition before you ride it.

Clutching the wheelie had nothing to do with it. Lack of maintenance on the bike is the fault here. Keep an eye on your chain tension. Take care of your bike and it will take care of you.
