steering dampner

I'm new here but not to the bike seen. I just got a 929 used, and its has no steering dampner. What kind should I get, and money is an issue. Also, I've heard of a recall on the clutch basket. How serious is this, and what should I do about it. If i have to change it what will it cost? and can i do it myself with moderate tech experience? I ask this in this forum because they have to do with my ability to do stunts safely, if there is such a thing.

I was just emailing GPR because my GPR on my R6 is leaking. I think I'm going to try to sell my GPR and go with Scott's. I just hope GPR will fix my stabilizer which is less than a year old.
