first time wheeli

what is the best way to do a wheeli? with the cluch? what is the best speed to control a wheeli.?

I'm tryin' on my 600 Kat, I just cant't get it up( no viagra references please . 1st gear sit back, rev to 6, drop off, forks dive, pull clutch rev to 8, drop clutch, pull a little on bars, bike revs to redline.....NOTHING! Is my timing off? i know I need to clutch this thing to get up but what is wrong,..gearing?

its not the bike. Are you popping clutch fast enough? Are you staying on the gas once clutch is popped. If yes than its timing/technique.

Dude, find someone to show you, it's too hard to explain on a message board. My guess is you'll really have to reve it to get it up with the power/weight of the Katana.

go 15mph. rev up with clutch in to 8k and release. if nothing, rev up to 81/2 or 9......if still nothing try bouncing it
