Highest Reving 600

Whats the highest reving 600, and is there a down side to high reving bikes?

Looks like the 2008 Yamaha R6 takes the cake.

Sorry for being short with you mate, I just figured these stats are readily available, but you were right, I had to do a bit of searching.

2008 R6?

I would have thought 06 or 07 zx6r, redline at 16 grand an it tops out at 20.

Whats the R6 at?

yea i was going to say the R6.... but the quickest revving engine from idle to top-end will be the new R1 on this sites home page, I think its the only bike that will have a 90degree offset which mean a bang in every stroke

Pardon me asking but, whats a 90 degree offset?

And high reving doesn't always mean the loudest right?
And which would be the loudest 600?

Sorry for all the questions, me and my friend are having a dispute, lol.

The loudest 600 will simply be the one that has the most obnoxious aftermarket pipe on it.
