Custom paintjob YZF R1 Price?

Anybody know how much it would cost to paint a Yamaha YZF R1 like this

on all parts?

I don't know if he's still around, but you could try sending a PM to rap7hundred. He did some custom painting on quads and stuff, so he might be able to ballpark it for you. Probably depends on what year the R1 is, as far as how much plastic is involved.

I was talking to a guy tonight who does painting and said he could do a piece that I have for my Ducati. I'll print out that pattern you posted and see if I can get you an idea that way. What year is the bike, btw?

Well now since youve gave me some wisdom I'm lookin at a 2008 Ninja 250R for this paintjob

I'd rather be seen on an '08 250R than the bike I started on. I'm sure there's more than one person around here that would say the same.

I'll see what I can do. Are you looking to do all the paintable areas (plastics, tank and all?)

Mate, no offence, but why would you spend that kind of money painting what will undoubtedly be the bike you'll drop a couple of times before selling it to upgrade anyway???

Save the mod's for your next bike. Just ride this one and use it as a tool to hone your skills on.
