matching Gixer logo color

I'm new here so first off Hi everyone. I have an 06 gsxr 600, I want to paint the grills over the air intakes the same color as the R in the gsxr logo on the side of the bike. Does anyone know were I can find that color? Also I painted my rear hugger white I think it looks good but not really the same white thats on the bike. The bike is blue and white BTW. I figure I can get the white from my dealer but not sure. lastly I would like to get a HID kit. Just wondering if anyone had a opion on what kit is the best to get and what color bulb. Thanks a lot.

color rite qwestion

Karnij, I found the paint I need at color rite but it needs a base also they are both $33.00 for a spray can. It's proubly a bad idea not to use the base but do you know if it's just a primer or something I have some cheap auto primer. Also I allready painted and cleared the hugger. So either way I nedd to sand it down first I would asume.

you can use any primer, so go to your local auto parts place and pick it up there.

Here's a thought not sure if you can fine one but there is a automotive paint store in my area and they make there own spray cans takes a couple day to make only $20 per can all they need to know is the color code. ie I got my foot ball helmet painted a navy blue color really nice I ask the painter what color he said it got it from a BMW 2003 model well a few of my friend on the team wanted it done too well the guy charged $25 dollars, not bad in our eyes, well in the past I painted my own helmet before, so I went to the auto place got the base, clearcoat, and prime, and now the $25 comes to me, now in my eyes, pricele$$.

Hope this help

Yeah I used them in the past I have a 2K GSXR 750 yellow/black, I had to order the yellow which has a pearl in it, the yellow didnt match perfect and they admit to that, because you're painting with a spray can, but an untrain eye wont notice a differance. but I would use them again if I need to
