Jardine High Mount

I was thinking about ordering a Jardine High Mount for my 02 F4i, but I have aftermarket rearsets. I was talking with my local parts dealer and we were afraid the rearsets might get in the way of the midpipe.. has anyone done this, or know if it will or will not cause any problems?

Whats everyone think of that pipe?

Thanks

I personally have heard a lot of complaints about the Jardine stuff. As far as the clearance issues, I am not sure....I know one guy that use to be on here a lot Liggy11 went with a M4 high mount or highsport and rearset, maybe got to his profile and drop him an email and he might be able to hook you up with some info.

Thanks for the reply, I ended up ordering a standard mount Jardine yesterday, what kind of complaints have you heard about them.. I've had a few people recommend them to me.

Thanks

Most complaints dealt with replacement parts for them not being available and other minor issues. A lot of people swear that more than a few racers with their sponsor ship use Akra stuff and just put on the Jardine sticker too. I have only heard of a few of them being built poorly, but that will go with most anythin gon the market, there will be a few exceptions to the standard and quality. I think you should of gone with the high mount though, there are rubbing issues when doing tight carving with the F4i, you may be touching down the can. The guy I referred you too went with the highmount because of the ground clearance issue.

I have a Jardine and it sounds good and looks even nicer. Good choice, when I buy another bike it will have a Jardine on it too!

I put on my Jardine, but I think they sent me the wrong mounting bracket.. it isn't snug all the away around the pipe at all.. lots of gap space.. makes it look pretty bad up close. Anyone else have this problem?
