Lockhart Phillips Anti Draft Kit

Well, I had no luck posting this in the Honda forum, so I'll try posting my question here before I give it up for dead:

-----------------------

Hey,

I was just curious if anyone here has installed the Lockhart Phillips Anti Draft Kit for the CBR600 F3, '97-'98? If so, how do you like it, where did you get it from, and how much did you pay for it? Also, if anyone who has installed it has any pics to share, that'd be awesome.

Thanks,
Scott

Yeah, it is basically an undertail made specifically for the 97-98 CBR600 F3. But the one in the Lockhart catalog is carbon fiber and looks pretty swank. The MSRP in the LP online catalog is 189.99, but the only place I have seen sell it is Parts411.com and their price is WAY the hell over what the MSRP is. Unless the price on the LP website is outdated, I would rather not spend $70 over the MSRP just to get one. That's why I wanted to know where else it can be found, and the price, blah blah blah.

i had this on my f3 and i liked it a lot. ive since sold it, and i never got around to snapping any pics of it on the bike, but it really cleans up the rear of the bike. plus its carbon fiber so it looks trick and in total it drops about 3-4 pounds.

Haha, I knew SOMEONE out there had to have installed it. Thanks jdmb16. Do you by any chance remember where you bought it (if online anyway), or how much you paid for it though? Thanks

sure, yeah i bought it on kiernanracing.com. its cheap there, around 140 i believe.
its a cool part, you wont be disappointed, and ive actually thought about picking up another one because i love how clean the rear end looks, especially now that ive removed the passenger gear and put on a titanium muffler bracket.
