I ride in tight twist, somewhat rough road, so this might have limited appeal, but, for where and how I ride, it's perfection. Tossed the stock bars, did my own conversion with pro-Taper bars, and a Scotts stearing stabilizer. The bars put me in a stance that is more akin to Super moto mode, which is exactly what the ride is like. The tires that work best, are Metzeler Sportec M-1's if anyone is interested in that. :-)

Wish I could post pics, but I live too remote for phone line to the computer, so, to get "on", I go to town, and to the library, they won't allow anything into their computers. If anyone wants to e-mail me their mailing address, I'll send a picture of the bars and the raiser I made to do that (I'm a machinist), I had to make the raiser, because no one on this side of the Atlantic speaks fluent "Street fighter", although they should. It's my belief that a huge percentage of Sport bike riders are on Sport bikes because that's where the serious performance is at, but if the bike is ridden on the street, the crouch is the wrong (and detrimental), position to be in. My e-mail is [email protected] , I'd like to hear from anyone on this, and I live in the foothills of the Calif. Sierra at the base of Ebbetts pass (or hwy 4 ).

05 ZX-10 Super Hyper Motard Street fighter

This is kinda funny, I just got a "we miss you" notice, for this site, so (not with a fresh memory of it, logged on. Looking for good topic, I typed Street fighter in the custom forum, and My TLR post from 03pops up. , but what a shocker.

Well, the TLR is old news, what's rocken now (since 05) is the ZX-10, with modifications, strictly for knarly tight twisties.
That is (but don't take this route, use Spiegler or something) Z1000, top triple clamp and handle bars. And Triple clamps dropped 5/16ths inch down the fork tubes. Scotts damper, , and Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's. Rear size is 180/55 for quick transitions.

The only plastic removed is the very lowers, the rest works great for keeping the air blast off, in those mid tripple digit moments.

Anyone involved in anything like this?
