Vinyl to cover up scratches??

I was thinking about covering some scratches on my GSXR on the right side by using vinyl...basically, a cut and patch job.

I had a friend do this awhile back on an F4, and I know it took him forever.

Basically, I am thinking about trading my bike in and finding a replacement lower fairing is impossible to do for a decent price.

Anyone else done something like this??

Btw, my bike is an '00 gsxr 750.

I have checked out tapeworks...and that is my 2nd option...

I figure I could cover my bike up for about 30 bucks...beats almost 200 for a sticker kit

do you have a paint gun and air compressor? why do you think you need to replace the panel due to some scratches. i just repainted some parts of my wife's bike because of some scratches that were there when purchased. the kind of scratches that go all the way thru the plastic. a little "kitty hair" and some primer and paint and it looks good.

sign shop

Self-adhesive vinyl in a rainbow of colors. Like TapeWorks, but plain color. And cheap.
