Aluminum Sliders

I bought the Polished aluminum fairing protectors( sliders). for more of teh Bling effect. I find they get very Hot. anyone else using thease? do you have the same prob?
Although they make great handwarmers on the cold nights..

I would take those things off and replace them with the plastic type. They provide a huge amount of friction when the bike goes down.....promoting the ripping of the bolts and possibly the frame. The plastic type, do not give as much friction and give the bike a better chance to make it out somewhat ok. We have 2 guys in our club who thought those things were blingin and both had bad experiences with them......get rid of them!!

Take it from me and take them off!!!!! My bike went down 2 weeks ago with the aluminum puck Vortex sliders on, and it had very bad outcome.
