Installing Undertails

Generally speaking, how hard is this? I've heard so many people talk about what a pain in the ass installing their undertail was. I'm looking into getting one for my R6 that replaces the tail lights as well since I've always thought the 99-00 R6 taillights were ugly. I've seen a eurotail and an extreme graphics undertail that I like for these purposes but I wanna make sure I know what I'm getting into. I suppose ease of installation can vary from kit to kit though.

My buddy installed one from extreme graphic, it looks like, but was a bit of work to get installed.

He has an 02 6R, we cut the stock black plastic thing down so the undertail would fit, it fit well, but getting it lined up was a bit of a pain.

Overall not too bad, but directions would have helped..

I can't even tell you how understated that is. I got a dremel and it made the work easy. Cutting, smoothing...piece of cake.
Getting the damn undertail attached to teh tail cowl after it was ready....holy f*ck.....what a pain in the ass. I don't care what is needed, i'll never, never take off that undertail for any reason!

It's not that hard... I think the hardest part is just cutting off the hooks. . .everything else is a peice of cake!!!
