2000 M750 jetting issues

OK, the bike is stock...stock exhaust...and it sucks. The thing takes forever to warm up, and on-off throttle transition sucks...so what is the best bet? Stock pipes are staying....it just has to be that way.....so what is the cheapest/most efficient way of fixing it...?

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the bike and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the bike. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you

The carbs on the M750 seem to be just slapped on and it is hit or miss if they are adjusted properly, my 97 was good enough and it got good mileage so I didn't bother but adjusting the carbs on my 2000 M750D made a night and day difference in drivability and power, no jet kit or exhaust, just adjust and sync.

Just make sure you find a good mech. that has dealt with air cooled Ducatis before, they should have the routine down and be able to do it right the first time.

Have fun with the bike

dynojet stage 2 jet kit,use 144 main jet.use needle as instructed.K-N air filter.will still need time to warm up.that's the characteristics of a two valve air-cooled engine.

My bike had the opposite problem, It was running too rich. I used a Factory jet kit and it cleared up the issue.

My tombstone will read: "It seemed like a good idea at the time."
