916 steering head bearing replacement

Does anyone have a manual for the 916? I need the directions for replacing the steering tube bearings. I have the model with an ajustable steering head. Thanks for the help.

It's very easy to do...but the question is, why do you need to replace them? Maybe just lube them up. What will make your life easiest is if you get a triple tree front stand. Pitbull makes one. It picks up the bike from the bottom of the triple which frees up your forks for them to drop. You have to remove your calipers from the rotor and then loosen up your triple tree for the forks to drop right out. It's cake. Then you can see if your bearings need replacing. How many miles on your 916? What year is it? Do you ride in the rain? Good luck

I'd rather be on my Duck!
